We are settled into our home in beautiful Dufferin County, Ontario (just one hour north of Toronto). We are thrilled to reconnect with the Ontario cat-loving community that helped shape our very beginnings.

At Timber Siberians, our focus is entirely on the physical health and social well-being of our cats, not on allergen levels. Because individual reactions vary drastically, we do not offer cattery visits for allergy testing, nor do we provide fur samples.
Experience has shown that exposure to a friend's Siberian, a brief cattery visit, or a fur sample can give a false sense of security. None of these methods can guarantee that a kitten will not cause an allergic reaction once fully integrated into your household. This is especially true because each individual cat has a completely different allergen level, and each human has a different tolerance.
To ensure the lifelong security of our cats and to protect families from heartbreak, we no longer place our kittens into households with known strong cat allergies. Exceptions may be considered solely for adults with mild allergies who are fully prepared to take necessary precautions, or who already successfully live with a cat.
We deeply appreciate your understanding as we put the long-term stability and needs of our kittens first and foremost. If your family suffers from significant allergies, we kindly encourage you to reach out to specialist breeders within Canada who focus specifically on allergen testing.
